Justin & Blair's Twins Maternity Session by Lexilu Photos

From Lexilu Photos Session Vault- Justin and Blairs Maternity Session; 2017

I first met Justin and Blair when they were newly engaged.  Our Port Huron engagement session was one of the first times we photographed them.  Since then, we have been blessed with not only their friendship, but have also been privileged to be a part of the many milestones of raising a family of their own.   Our session here is from our archived Maternity sessions from 2017.  Justin and Blair decided that they wanted to wait to find out the gender of the babies.  We did a little guessing and each wrote down what they thought the babies would be.  Check out who had it spot on!

A Puppy Picnic! by Lexilu Photos

If you think newborn babies grow fast...have a puppy. In a matter of a few months, a little tiny bundle of mischievous fur becomes a....well LARGE balls of mischievous fur!  This session was taken in August of 2016 as the Madden's, Alex and Rebecca celebrated their one year anniversary. You may remember Alex and Rebecca's beautiful engagement session in Ludington, Michigan in 2015, followed by their beautiful August wedding.  As they celebrated their one year anniversary they welcomed Whiskey into their lives. These are moments of the first few weeks with their new pup!

The Brown Family by Lexilu Photos

I had the opportunity to shoot a senior this summer,  and in the course of planning his session I found out that he loves to kayak.   So, I planned his shoot in two sessions, one in the summer, and one in the fall when the colors would be perfect on the lake where I planned to shoot him at.

During the planning I thought how perfect if, while his family was there, they all came ready for a mini session of sorts...and so it goes.  The Brown Fall Family session was planned.

Little did I know that the day we planned it was the father's day to help on the farm where they were busy harvesting crops.  But Ike, true to his sense of family, took time away to get in these precious last moments with his children while they were still all together.  It was bitter sweet knowing that his oldest graduates and heads off to college next year.  It instills the importance of making your time count...and always keeping family first.
