Wedding Day Questionnaire

Please fill out this form and submit it back to us.  It is lengthy but the information contained here will help up put together a Timeline or schedule that we will be using for your wedding day so that we are there when and where you need us to be.  Help us capture those special moments and key shots by filling this form out as completely, and with as much detail, as possible.  Thank you so much for the time it takes to fill this out. I will send you a suggested Timeline as soon as I have it ready, you can then tweak it as you need to.  If you don't have some of the answers, that's o.k.  Tell us as much as you can at this point.

Special Note: For those considering a First Look set up for your wedding day. This is especially important for Winter weddings when our natural light following the ceremony will be limited. We can help you select the best time of day for being ready for photos, and organize these times for you to include your wedding party and immediate family members. In all a First Look session includes, Bride and Groom alone, seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day in a private location. Our cameras are kept at a distance and there is minimal posing. We organize it and then let you have this special moment alone…well semi-alone. Next, we do a more formal session that will include portraits of the groom, bride, and then bride and groom together. The bridal party then follows for some fun candids and traditionally posed images. Finally, we add your immediate family and viola….you have the majority of your wedding day images completed. We can help you organize this portion of the day, which includes suggested hair and makeup times, arrival times for the bride and groom and then the rest of your bridal party. It is good to do this well in advance so that everyone can prepare to be there at the suggested time. We will also scout out your location and help you select the perfect spot for these one of a kind special images. Please contact me if you have any questions about a First Look. 9 out of 10 of our couples schedule First Look sessions as it gives them more time for images and allows them to relax together before seeing each as she walks up the aisle with dad. There has never been one couple regret a First Look session, and most of our grooms say that they are much more relaxed after seeing her first.

For those of you considering and Traditional Wedding where the groom sees the bride as she is walking up the aisle here are some things to take into consideration.

We will work with your schedule. We suggest that we meet the guys early in the morning for their portraits. They will need to be fully dressed and have their flowers, but once they are done they can go relax. For the gals, we suggest early morning appointments for hair and makeup and then we meet up with you to get shots of the pretty details of your dress, shoes, flowers…etc just before you step into your gown. Then its portrait time. We suggest having the bride, groom and their attendants portraits finished before the ceremony. Then, following the ceremony we get right to work organizing the family formals. Once complete we can head to get some amazing bridal party images…ending with portraits of just the bride and groom. Since there are a lot of images to take following the ceremony, we ask that you take into consideration the timeline to drive to the reception and alternative locations. This will help us have enough time for these important images without rushing, and not keep your guests waiting unnecessarily.

Please let me know if you need any help with timelines. Things move very fast on wedding days, and we are always here to help.

Thank you in advance...you might want to grab a cup of coffee...or glass of wine before you begin. ;)

This is where you will be getting ready the day of your wedding. Please have your dress out, and remember I will be photographing it on the hanger it is on. Pretty hangers are easy to find and make for gorgeous Pinterest/blog images. It is also good to consider what you and your attendants will be wearing. Cute mini robes, hoodies, even one of the grooms button down dress shirts are all great options for making sure your Getting Ready image collection is beautiful. Please have all shoes, jewelery, flowers ready to be included in the photos as well and that everyone in your wedding party knows the time and location to be there with you.

If your wedding day coverage includes the Grooms preparation, we will need to keep to a good schedule, especially if you are in separate locations. Grooms will want to be sure that their groomsmen know when to be there for Getting Ready photos. We will shoot discreetly, and capture the candid moments just before your portraits. This includes pinning flowers on so please be sure they are available. PLEASE NOTE: We are able to do a grooms prep only if the location of the bride and grooms prep locations are close or in the same location.
(IE golf, batting cages, bowling, going to the bar, etc…) Depending on the activity location and other factors, we may be able to cover this activity as part of prep photos.
Will the bride and groom be seeing each other before the wedding? If so we will schedule a reveal or First Look session.
